Introduction

Tracer Technologies Ltd. (Reg. No. 516239043) ("Tracer", "the Company", "we") owns and operates the website tracer.co.il (the "Site"), including all sub-domains.

  • These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between you – the visitor or user ("user", "you") – and Tracer.
  • Browsing or using the Site signifies your unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site.
  • The Service and the Site are intended for users who are adults (18+) with the legal capacity to contract. Where a vehicle is used by a minor, the engagement and the consent to data collection shall be given by the parent/guardian, who shall inform the minor of the existence and purpose of the tracking.
  • Tracer may amend the Terms at any time; the updated version becomes effective upon publication on the Site.
  • These Terms complement Tracer's Privacy Policy and any written agreement signed with a customer. In case of conflict, the specific agreement prevails.

Providing personal data is not legally mandatory, but some services may be unavailable without it.

3. Purposes of Processing

  1. Operation & Maintenance – navigation, fleet management, mileage calculations.
  2. Safety & Compliance – driver-behaviour reports, accident analysis, regulatory compliance.
  3. Support – handling inquiries, troubleshooting.
  4. Improvement – analytics, A/B testing, and machine learning, performed on aggregated and anonymous data. The systems do not make automated decisions producing legal effects on a person without human involvement.
  5. Legitimate Marketing – remarketing, upgrade offers (opt-out available).
  6. Legal Obligations – record-keeping, fraud prevention, authority requests.

5. Cookies

Essential cookies operate by default for the Site's operation. Statistics and marketing cookies are activated only after active and informed consent, in accordance with Israel's Communications Law and the guidance of the Privacy Protection Authority (February 2026). You can block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

7. International Transfers

Telematics data is stored and processed on secure servers in the European Economic Area (EEA) only; accounting and CRM data are stored in Israel. Transfers comply with Israel's Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Transfer Abroad) 2001.

8. Security Measures

  • RBAC; the system infrastructure supports MFA; signed logs kept for two years
  • Daily encrypted backups, DR recovery
  • Periodic penetration tests
  • In its role as processor, Tracer will notify the database owner (the customer) of a serious security incident without undue delay and in any case within 48 hours, enabling the database owner to meet its 72-hour reporting obligation to the Authority

Aggregated and anonymous data that has undergone irreversible anonymisation and can no longer identify any individual, driver, customer, or vehicle does not constitute personal data. Such data may be retained and used by Tracer indefinitely, including after termination of the engagement, for the purposes set out in Section 6.

10. User Liability

The user or fleet owner must inform drivers and any person in the vehicle about the tracking and its purpose. Unlawful use constitutes breach; the user shall indemnify Tracer for any claim or damage.

12. Minors

The Service is intended for adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly collect data directly from minors as Site users. Where a vehicle managed through the Service is used by a minor, responsibility for the engagement, for giving consent, and for informing the minor of the existence and purpose of the tracking lies with the parent/guardian.

13. Changes

Tracer may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
